ROCKSTUD OR ROCKSTAR

Happy Monday loves!  Did you have a fun weekend?  Mine was pretty low key but I did manage a photo session on Sunday.  After having my eye on the Valentino rockstud pumps for over a year, I finally decided to get a pair.  I was indecisive on whether I wanted the higher or lower heel.  I generally prefer higher heels but liked the straps better on the lower one.  It's usually four inches and above or flats for me so I think this was a nice in between height (they are 3 inches).  My current favorite color is light/pastel pink so it was a no brainer on which color to get.  I also kind of feel like a rockstar when I wear these because of all the studs and it's a little edgier than my otherwise simple taste in shoes.

On a different note, I made a major change (to me anyways) to my appearance.  Stay tuned to see what I did!

SPRING TIME

Happy Friday my loves!  Hope you had a wonderful week and an exciting weekend ahead.  I'm so happy with the warmer weather we've been getting here and the opportunity to wear some sandals and dresses in April.  A trench is a great piece to have for the in between temperatures where it's nice but not nice enough to go without a jacket.  I also think it's a great way to add some dimension to an outfit that might be too plain otherwise.  I chose this shorter length trench because I didn't want it to be overpowering.  To keep the outfit fun, I decided to pair it with my Clare Vivier leopard clutch.

BOHO-CHIC

Happy Thursday loves!  Hope you are having a wonderful week so far.  As I mentioned in my last post, I'm super bummed I didn't get to go to Coachella this year...but that doesn't mean I can't dress like I am!  I wouldn't describe my normal style as boho-chic but it is fun to break out of my comfort zone from time to time.

I felt so laid back and relaxed as soon as I put together this outfit and I think it really shows in my photos.  I just had a sense of carefree-ness that came over me and it resulted in one of the funnest photo sessions ever.  Missoni never disappoints with their ponchos and I love love love them.  They really go with everything and is a good way to throw on an extra layer without feeling bulky.

Chris and I are headed to the beach for the holiday weekend so I will talk to you guys soon!

BLACK MEETS WHITE

Blouse: Theory (on sale here) | Leather Joggers: Capulet (on sale) | Shoes: Zara (sold out, similar style) | Bag: Gucci (other color options)

Happy Friday loves!  I am so glad the weekend is finally here after what seemed like the longest week ever.  The weather this week was really pleasant with today in the mid 70's!  It makes it so much more enjoyable doing things outside (oh and taking pictures!).  I also can get away without a jacket but it is still too cold for shorts and sundresses.

I really love leather pants but all the ones I have are skinny fit so I was totally excited when I found these leather joggers.  They are a good length and fit perfectly to my ankle.  I have a hard time finding pants that fit length wise because I'm short.  They are also ridiculously comfortable and I have a feeling I'm going to be lounging around in them a lot.  I think they can be dressed up with some heels or dressed down with flats and a great versatile piece to add to my collection.

I'm bummed I am missing Coachella this year because I didn't plan well.  Time just kind of got away from me.  However, I will be sharing some Coachella looks and outfit ideas in my next post just in time for weekend 2!  Stay tuned loves!

Thanks for reading and have a FUN-tastic weekend!  xoxo

LEATHER AND CHAMBRAY

Blouse: J Crew | Pants: Theory (similar) | Jacket: Truth and Pride (sold out, currently loving this and this) | Bag: Chanel | Shoes: Chanel

Hi loves!  Hope you are having a wonderful week so far and happy early Friday!  Even though the weather has warmed up from just a few weeks ago, it is still not quite warm enough to wear short sleeves and shorts.  I love the versatility of leather and it's such a bonus that it can be worn in the fall or spring.  I decided to add a casual element to my outfit by pairing the leather with a chambray top.  Lately, my photographer and good friend Walter has been surprising me by using fashion terms I didn't even think he knew.  He called this look "Euro chic".  What do you guys think?

Thanks for reading and have a wonderful weekend!  xoxo
